Born into a family of professional musicians, Collin was immersed in music from an early age. This foundation of pre-study musical education helped develop a strong rhythmic, harmonic, and melodic understanding long before beginning formal private instruction with alumni of the University of North Texas.
That immersion continued through years of study, competition, and live performance, eventually leading to graduation from the University of North Texas in 2012.
Following graduation, Collin immediately began teaching and performing professionally, working across a wide variety of musical styles, instruments, and educational approaches. His teaching combines formal training with a lifelong practical understanding of how musicians naturally learn, hear, and express music.
